  • Mymaths One of the best mathematics education sites in the country. The booster packs are great. Most impressive is the management system that allows teachers to login and see students results to tests. Fantastic! 
  • Centre for Innovation in Maths A really excellent site! Contains word lists, maths dictionary, biographies of mathematicians, and loads of other resources
  • Sumbooks These books, written by Bob Joinson, provide a fantastic resource for practice and revision as well as homework. They come as a CD of pdf files which can be copied. Great value too. A real must!
  • MathsWatch The best GCSE revision resource around - great value at £3 per disk. Your students will love this!
  • CFSoftware A great site with some excellent (and free) software.
  • IBMaths A site aimed at the International Baccalaureate with many nice resources .
  • St. Margaret Ward School Mathematics Department A great example of what mathematics department websites can look like! Also check out David Millward's other site, Mathsanswers.
  • WaldoMaths R Barrow's Excellent site with loads of interactive learning tools.
  • Subtangent Some nice resources and games including one to go with my Broken Calculators worksheet.
  • EChalk A nice site with tools for use on your interactive whiteboards.
  • SuffolkMaths By AST Mark Greenaway - a really nice example of good practice and the role that ASTs can play in spreading resources throughout their county.
  • Kangaroo Maths By Steve Lomax and Matthew Nixon. Kenny's Pouch is one of the best resources on the Web.
  • Mathsguru This is an excellent site with an extensive range of superb worksheets that are free to download. There is also a really nice revision section arranged helpfully in levels.

 

 

  • Mr Barton Maths A free to use site with lots of resources for teachers and students.  Written by a teacher.
  • LiveMaths A subscription site with video tutorials for all of the A Level syllabus - great for revision.
  • FlashyMaths Some really nice games for students.
  • Mathematics in Gloucestershire A really good example of best practice on a county wide basis.

  • MathedUp Contains lots of good resources, especially for Easiteach and Tarsia
  • The History of Mathematics A truly superb resource relating to the history of mathematics. Fantastic.
  • Counton Contains games, an excellent maths dictionary and general numeracy ideas.
  • Mathematics Teacher Resources Fantastic site with loads of worksheets and other useful resources for teacher of mathematics of all key stages
  • Mathsnet A really good site with loads of resources, including JAVA demos and online exams.
  • Swarthmore A USA site with loads of maths resources - including "Problem of the Week"
  • The Oundle School The Oundle School web site, with resources for all sorts of topics. You can also download a copy of Autograph co-ordinate geometry software.
  • The Maths Zone A nice site that includes notes from the owner's courses that he delivers as a mathematics consultant. Also contains a students page with puzzles and so on.
  • Mathsroom A nice site from Scotland with loads of links relevant to the English and Welsh systems.
  • NRICH A fantastic source of rich tasks to use with your students.
  • Maths-it A nice site with some excellent resources for Excel.
  • Formative Assessment An amazing collection of Formative Assessment resources.
